The Faerie Fest at Spoutwood Farm, '08

Note from Jess: "This was my second time at this wonderful show.  I took my long time
best friend Heather to this one, so she could experience one of these faerie shows I'm
always talking to her about.  We had the time of our lives, and both were so sad to
fly home on Sunday.  We hung out with Kim and the gang from Faerie Magazine,
who treated us like stars all the way, and also with Linda Ravenscoft, her hubby John,
Jane Starr Weils, Brigid Ashwood, Joe Tate, Charles Vess, Ari Berk, the list goes on...

Here I am with the owner of a wonderful shop that carries my work
called Crystals, Candles & Cauldrons...and Sharon from Mystical
Art, my new scrap booking licensor!  We had such a blast, and I had
the best psychic reading of my life from their resident reader Pam!

Here I am posing with Heather...she is so enamored with this whole
faerie thing that she is going to start going to more shows with me!

All of us blew off steam and ate some great food over at Ruby Tuesdays
next to our Hotel.  It was so nice to rest our weary feet after the day and
laugh until we cried.  I call these photos "dinner at the round table" :)

My favorite part of the Spoutwood event is the Greenman parade.  I can't
seem to resist a photo op with the leafy dudes.  Don't they look great!?

A few of my favorite people from the show.  What is amazing is how
well we all get along...truly sharing the magic that is at the core of
this fairy industry.  I look forward to reconnecting each year with
these wonderful people.  Top: CJ Randall, Jane Starr and Linda

The folks associated with Faerie & Pirates magazines are truly the
kindest, most fun people I've ever had the pleasure of hanging with.

We had to post a pic of these two lovely little ladies.  These two
little angels brought Jess roses to her signing because they
read in her book that roses are her favorite.  She was touched!
