Here at Enchanted Art, we love poetry almost as much as art...so we decided to hold an annual poetry contest with regards to Jessica's art. It all started when she began receiving poems from her fans about different paintings of hers. This planted the seed for what is now our official Enchanted Art Poetry contest. Whether you are a published professional writer, or an amateur, you are welcome and encouraged to enter our annual contest. Please see below for submission rules:

POETRY CONTEST DETAILS:

Poem must be entirely your own original work, no exceptions!

You must write about one of Jessica's prints (any print that is offered as an 8-1/2" x 11" print found in one of our print galleries here on the Enchanted Art web site). Poems submitted that are not about one of Jessica's open edition prints will be immediately disqualified.

Your poem should be written about the image. We get several thousand entries per year, so to help your poem make it to the final round of judging, make sure you touch on the symbols in the painting you choose to write about. We pick a winner based upon the quality of the work as well as how well it relates to the actual image itself.

We choose one winning poem per year, on October 15th and honor that winner by posting their poem here on the web site for a full year, along with their choice of name credit and link. We also send the winner a FREE print of the image that they wrote about in their poem and one of Jessica's writing journals.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR POEM

Once you have finalized your poem (making sure to have written specifically about one of Jessica's open edition print images), prepare an e-mail to us that contains the following information EXACTLY, then send to us at: enchantedart@aol.com with the subject line: Poetry Contest

Your Poem (check for spelling errors please):

Remember that the winner's of the past have been chosen not only for their beautiful words, but also for how we feel they relate to Jessica's imagery.  You may submit as many different poems as you wish, but please only submit each poem once.

You will not receive a response from us, but please don't worry!  We keep all entries safe and sound, and contact the winner around October 15th.  We receive so many entries, that although we'd love to, we can't reply personally to each one.  Good luck!
